Geocache Description:

The cache is located on a bluff off a horse trail in Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park. The park's name sake, Tiburcio Vasquez, was a major horse rustler who used this area as his hideout. By 1856 Vasquez had been stealing horses by the hundreds. While making the mistake of selling his stolen horses too soon, he was busted by a Sheriff's posse near Newhall. For this crime he spent five years behind bars at San Quentin.

You are looking for a poly jar hidden in a special hideout. When retrieving the cache make sure you check for and watch out for snakes!
