Bletchley Park Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

iHam: The area is totally different than when I hid this...the BMX trails are GONE, as is the cache container...a bunch of No Trespassing signs have gone up, so I'm archiving this one. Thanks for playing...

For the record, I hand-encrypted the coordinates using the letters from the background image as a one-time-pad. A=[1|27], B=[2|28]...Z=[26|52]. My results ended up being offset by one character from those returned by a couple of online cryptography sites...not trying to be mean-spirited about it, it is simply that the way I understood the process to work.

This location was actually my 2nd choice, the spot originally chosen being down in Lake Fenwick Park by the Frisbee Golf course...and too near the final of another puzzle cache for approval.

Geocache Description:

A tribute to the code-breakers of WWII

No, south King County hasn't gotten a new park...Bletchley Park is, in fact, located between Oxford and Cambridge, in Great Britian. It was here that many of the great code-breaking feats of the European Theatre, including the cracking of the 3-wheel and 4-wheel German Enigma Codes, were accomplished by such luminaries as Alan Turing, Dilly Knox, Admiral Hugh Sinclaire, Ian Fleming, and many others. It is also where some of the first electronic computers, such as "Colossus" were built and utilized for the purpose of code breaking.

As you have probably surmised by now, the posted coordinates are NOT where the cache lies. (Heck, I wouldn't even park there, as it would be QUITE a hike.) Rather, please break the cypher and look at the following location:

EKATE HGUAW OOFTB KTGRZ WUPTV RJEPB
VJHOG ECUVR WPSSB XEWQU TTPZY BGDKW
NJVFK RPOJA CHEBA GQPJA ZBQTF QNBIL
NXJQB DKMQR SXCHQ KFLZK XVNNE OJXQI
