Geocache Description:

In a clump of trees

In case you didnt know it Kissimmee Airport was a military base. In the pre WWII days Kissimmee Airport was the home to the Flying Tigers, the P40 Warhawks. After WWII the Army Airfield was home to the P61 Blackwidows. This cache is hiddin in a clump of trees off of a street that once housed the Enlisted Men. The area is now owned by the City and is public property. Just a few hundred yards south of this cache is one of the few remaining places used by the P40s. A bunker built on top of the ground and open on one side was filled with dirt and the pilots would fire thier machine guns into it for calibration test. If you get permission you can go there and dig up old 50 cal fired bulletts.
