A nice walk in a wooded public conservation area that runs along the shores of Shepards Hill Cove and Spruce Creek in Kittery, Maine, USA.
Rogers Park is open 24 hrs, is dog friendly, and the cache is located for year round access. To get to the parking area, take State Route 236 (also known as Rogers Road or Shapleigh Road, depending on location) until you come to Dion Avenue (across from the cemetery). Follow Dion avenue its entire length bearing left at the bottom of the hill. When in the park, keep a look out for wildlife - we have spotted deer, coyote, fox, turkeys, eagles, ducks, geese, and seals. Bring a fine point writing instument to record your initials and date on the VERY small rolled log sheet. The coordinates are NOT the cache location. When at the coordinates (and with two cedar-like trees behind you), the cache is located approximately 80 feet away on a bearing of 340 degrees magnetic, so you may want to bring a compass. The cache is in plain sight about 7 feet above the ground. Happy hunting!
