Dunkin Knob Cache Traditional Geocache

I placed this cache while on my annual winter camping trip. The weather was great 15 degrees F and a 15-20 MPH wind with snow and ice on the trail. The best way to accesses this cache is to park at the Gap Creak Trail head, off of Crisman Hollow Road in the George Washington National Forest. Follow the Gap Creek Trail (Blue Blaze) for approximately 1.2 miles until you reach the Dunkin Knob Trail (While Blaze). Follow the trail until you reach the base on the Knob, the last remaining hike is a 300 foot rock scramble to the top of the Knob. PLEASE USE CAUTION ON THE ROCK SCRAMBLE it's not for the faint at heart. The Cache is hidden on the top of the Knob. The total elevation change from parking to cache is approximately 1400 feet in 1.4 miles.
