We had a day off today and wanted to take a day trip somewhere. All the little guy said was "We need Fudge". So off to Cabelas we went. The whole family loves Cabelas fudge and we can walk around for hours. The place is so big that it can qualify for its own Zip-Code. I know there are 2 other caches nearby and I though I could fit in another one. I bought a small container at Cabelas and had a few glass balls and a rubbber duck in the car. (what, ...you don't carry a rubber duck in your car ?) Its a quick cache and dash, so check out the other 2 caches nearby and you can score a Cabelas Hat Trick.
7 / 21 / 2009 : After 509 finds in a row and no DNF's, the container went missing. We replaced it with some 8oz Nalgene bottles that will hold small trade items and most coins. Lets see if we can make it to 1000 finds with this container.
Please use caution when removing the Log. I found folding it before you remove it to be the best option.
4-14-2011 It looks like "Hunch Lover" was the 1000th cacher to make the find.
7-17-11 The new containers made it to 1000 finds but went missing soon after. Cabelas stopped selling the small Nalgene bottles so a Bottle Preform will substitute for now. Sorry, just a log to sign. We need to find a new container to load in loot.
