The Scout Master: I went by due to 2 DNFs. The cache container was not present. A cacher noted someone from inside exploring the location. Apparently it has been decided this one is no longer approved, new owners perhaps. So I have decided to archive it. Thanks to all who visited over the past 7 years.

Geocache Description:

Can you see the lighthouse? More importantly, can you see the cache? This cache is located along Highway 14 near Greer, S.C. The terrain is VERY flat, but you must reach to get the cache, so anyone in a wheelchair might have difficulty if they could not stand.

.....You are searching for a medium-sized pharmacy pill bottle (about 2" across and about 3" tall). It has not been painted but is its original color. However, that fact will not help you find it. The container is secreted from view of cachers, but its location is right in front of you. Can you see it now?

.....The container is large enough for a log and small trade items such as geocoins. It does NOT contain a writing implement, so BYOP(Bring Your Own Pen) to sign the log.
As usual, if you use the maps, the google map shows the location too far to the right. Tha Microsoft MapPoint is truer.

.....Permission for placement of this cache was originally granted to me by Jeff B. the owner, but there is now a church there, and they were ok with the cache placement.
You may need to be quite STEALTHY if patrons are around. After hours searching will be no problem however.
UPDATE 2-19-2010 - I checked with NEW owners of the property, cache is OK per Matthew, Associate Pastor of Dominion Church now located here.
