Die Ducksteinquelle entspringt dem Moringer Ducksteinberg, Teil der "Ahlsburg", in der Nähe von Lutterbeck. Gefährdete und schützenswerte Pflanzen sind im Quellbereich beheimatet. Nach kurzem Verlauf durch angelegte Kaskaden fließt das Wasser schließlich in die "Bölle" unterhalb des Weges am Waldrand Durch das Verdunsten kalkhaltigen Quellwassers setzen sich kleinste Kalkpartikel an der Umgebung ab und verhärten. Hierdurch entsteht der sogenannte "Tuffstein". Im Laufe der Zeit wurde aus "Tuffstein" "Duckstein". Die Kalkquelle und ihr Abflußbereich ist als Naturdenkmal ausgewiesen.
Eine Schutzhütte und daneben befindliche Tische und Bänke laden zum Rasten und Feiern ein. Der Cache ist problemlos mit dem Auto zu ereichen,wenn ihr nicht gerade tiefergelegt seid.
Begebt euch zu den Koordinaten und macht von euch und euren GPS ein Foto in dem ihr mit Duckstein zusehen seid.

The source of Ducking water rises from the Moringer Ducking installation supply., part of the Ahlsburg, in the proximity of Lutterbeck.
