This is a new walking trail in Elk Township. The cache is just under a half of a mile from parking on a flat gravel trail.
This old railroad bed in Elk Township was made into a walking trail in the spring of 2007. It is a flat gravel trail with beautiful views of forest and farms. Lots of birds and other wildlife along the trail. The cache is in a large plastic mayo jar with lots of fun toys and items for trade inside. The cache is a very short walk off the gravel trail. There are just a few thorns near GZ but no bushwacking needed. Grab your dog and your walking shoes...no need to worry about elephants or swamps here because we are feeling Rummmy!
