Geocache Description:


As of October 10, 2021 cache is now a soda tube

At the new Walker County Safety Rest Area ~ I-45 Southbound.

This new rest area is a Safety Stop Area. There are security cameras all around, Wireless Internet Access, a nice play ground, clean restrooms and nature trails.

The cache is down the nature trail, about 225 feet past the park bench. You are searching for a camouflaged ammo can.

As always in these areas, look and poke before reaching under stuff, we wouldn’t want to startle any creatures would we?

It was over-cast today, so the coordinates should be good within 25 feet.

There is a Where's George for the FTF.
