Commemorating a well-used downhill, now bypassed by...progress?
Many a skier has cursed this unpredictable slope. It could be beautiful one day and nasty the next, with rock, roots and ice lurking under the snow. These days, however, this is a virtually untried challenge, as the main ski track south from Mylla has been moved and "improved" quite a bit, machine-groomed and all, bypassing this part completely. The cache sits at 515 meters above sea-level. It is a modified military food container, stealth black and secured with camo wire and carabiner. Initial content includes a CD, a Bernhardese fear chaser, some carabiners etc. February 2019 update: Due to extensive logging, the lost path with its red paint is now visible. But the cache remains in the same location, and the view is much improved.
