A small cliplock type box painted in "cammo" colours.
It only has room for the smallest of swag.
The Salt Line is a really nice place for a walk, with parking in several convenient places, depending on your direction of approach.
It does get peaceful the further you get from the M6!
At a couple of places along the path you will find information about it's former life as a railway track. This former life means it is a nice flat, level path for walking. It is probably buggy accessible but can get quite muddy in the wet weather.
We had a wondeful encounter with a buzzard swooping over us as we walked recently and there is quite a variety of other wildlife in the area.
When at the cache location please note that you do not need to leave the main path level.
Many thanks to Alistair Wright, Countryside Ranger, for permission to place the cache. Hopefully he will be converted to the joys of caching soon...
As the box is so small please try and put the paperwork back in the same order for ease of future use.
