Geocache Description:

Located at the Historic Depot in Philadelphia, Miss
Also the home of the Chamber of Commerce and its Welcome Center.

This depot was a part of the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio (GM&O) Railroad line and was constructed by the Mobile, Jackson and Kansas City Railroad in 1905. It is the only GM&O depot left standing on the original route, running from Mobile, Ala. to Jackson, Tenn. Many of the depots are still in existence, but have been moved from their original sites. The depot is currently owned by the City of Philadelphia and has gone thru a major restoration and preservation. It is now the home of The Community Development Partnership; it houses the Chamber of Commerce and the Philadelphia Welcome Center.

You are looking for a large plastic container hidden close to the entrance to the depot.
It is hidden with permission from the CDP and the Camber of Commerce.

The cache is not in the flower pot!
Please do not disturb the flowers!

If your visit is during business hours, be sure to visit the Welcome Center and check out the old photos of the depot. Be sure to tell the lady behind the desk (Nell) that you are Geocachers. She is fascinated by the game.

Do not approach the tracks on the opposite side of the depot (away from the parking lot) as the Kansas City Southern RR uses these tracks.

Please rehide the cache as you found it and watch out for muggles.
