Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden on the south edge of an area containing several large beautiful White Spruce trees. The biggest one I found (WP002) looks to be about 3.5 meters in circumference and is located beside the Jumpingpound Trail (West Loop). After finding the cache, please spend a little time exploring the area, especially a very pleasant spot about 50 meters NW of the big tree. Sensitive people will definitely feel the power of this place!

I parked at WP001 on the shoulder of highway 68 (Sibbald Creek Trail) about 16 kms south of the TCH. This is closest on trail access point for the cache. Head slightly east of north up an old cutline for about 30 meters where you will intersect the Jumpingpound Trail. Head east along the Jumpingpound Trail for approximately 450 meters where you will start to encounter the bigger White Spruce on both sides of the trail, about 50 meters before getting to the biggest at WP002. Please continue on the trail a bit before heading for the cache, using your own circuitous route to avoid leaving a major trail in the snow for curious muggles to follow. I highly recommend that you carry on and hike either the whole Jumpingpound Loop (9.5 kms) or the West section (5.5 kms). There are also some other caches to find as you hike this trail as well as a few impressive stands of Douglas Fir Trees to admire and good views of Moose Mountain to enjoy.

This is a winter accessible cache. A spoiler photo has been added.
