Time for Dessert! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Snoopy007: Did a quick scan of the area for a new hiding spot and didn't find what I was looking for, so it's time to archive this one. Hope everyone enjoyed their Dessert!

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Mosinee's Dessert Park! According to the City's web page:

"This approximate 2.4-acre community park has many tall beautiful white pines and is an ideal location for family picnics, baseball, and skating. The park is located at the corner of Fremont and Fourth Streets and the Park’s facilities include a children play area, ball park, lodge and an outdoor ice rink.

The park has been adopted by Cub Scout Pack 455 and includes the following equipment for the enjoyment of its visitors:

•Children’s softball park •Merry-go-round •Spinning dish • Animal bouncers • Picnic tables •Slide •Swings •Charcoal grills •Junior whirl •Bouncing dish •Balance beams •E-Z digger •A new tot play center •A lighted (staffed) skating rink with a warming house •Lodge with restrooms and concession area."

And now, there's even a geocache here! It's not far from the Wisconsin River, and I had a Bald Eagle fly right over me while placing the cache. You're looking for a camo Lock & Lock container.
