Geocache Description:

Nice hike in the Simcoe County Forest Caston Tract.;

Moved this cache about 151m from its original location to avoid logging activity. It's not far from the MOST 415 snowmobile trail and can be reached in Winter and Summer but the potentially deep snow along the side trail might require snow shoes. The container is a medium size ammo can. When replaced it contained a fair amount of trading goods with something for all family members. There is a log-book with pencil if you did not bring a writing instrument. Less than 10m bushwacking required if you venture along the right cleared path. If you enter from Flos 5 country road please walk to near top of hill (or use car if you dont mind the ruts/bumps or deep snow in Winter) and use the Simcoe Forest official trail entrance. This Cache can also be reached from Caston 2 and other caches within the forest with a fair hike through the Caston tract.
