I’ve spent enough time trekking through the woods, so I thought I
would make a multi-cache that is in more of an urban
setting.
Make sure you survey the area well at the first waypoint. There
area lot of muggles looking up at this area and you’ll need to be
discrete.
Stage one is well hidden and disguised, but probably not where
you'll think to look at first. This is the part that makes the
overall cache a higher difficulty.
Stage 2 will be diffucult to be discrete due to the houses and
business that overlook the spot.
The cache is a medium-small lock-n-lock. The two stages are
relatively close and you can actually see the cache location from
the first waypoint, but you will need to drive between them due to
the obvious obstacles once you see where you are.
Stage 1 is completly accessible. Cache location is not wheelchair
accessible, but is accessible by all other means until the last
10'-15'.
To find Stage 1 there is no need to untie, unwrap, unscrew,
dig up or otherwise cause damage to any thing or the surrounding
area. Unfortunately, I've watched cachers desmantel and destroy
Stage 1 while trying to solve this puzzle. Please be a considerate
cacher.
Updated - 5/2/09 - The final cache is near land that is, or was,
owned by the Cass County library. For 8+ years they had a sign up
saying that this was the future home for the Belton Library. A week
or so ago they finally took down the sign. So I guess there really
shouldn't be a library here anymore....
