Simple, traditional cache allowing trackable items.
This is the first cache placed in the city of Center Point, IA. Center Point (population around 2,000) is located just off of I-380 ten miles north of Cedar Rapids, IA. This cache placement was a family effort by fourolivers, shady789, and teengeocaching. We look forward to placing more caches around the city.
The cache is a 30 cal ammo can. It has been placed in a wooded creek area that is owned by the adjacent business who have given their permission. They are excited to be the first cache location in the city and look forward to meeting any geocachers that come by Wed-Sat between 10 and 5 when they are open. The store building has its place in the city's history being where the horses were kept for the wagons that took residents to the train station for trips to Cedar Rapids back in the 1800's.
