This is not a typical Dolphin, it is in fact a Chicken type hide,
well at least on chicken territory. This area can get very muddy,
please take proper precautions **This cache has been adopted and
changed. It is no longer a large container. See the hint if you
need help!**
** CAUTION **
This Farm lies on public gamelands (one of Geochicken’s
favorite hide environments). Please take appropriate precautions
(e.g. wearing blaze orange) during hunting season, or visit the
farm on a Sunday. I don’t know of any chicken or dolphin
season, but you can never be too careful especially when visiting
GeoChicken territory. |
GeoChicken has been really giving me a hard time about some of my
“unusually small” containers so much so he provided me
with a container to his liking. This is a very LARGE container, it
also contains a very large log book no one will need to use a
magnifying glass to see, he made sure of that. Therefore, to honor
Geochicken for his kindness I have built the Dolphin Pod and Egg
Farm and named it after it’s benefactor.
Inside this container you will find an assortment of dolphins (all
in need of rehabilitation, please give them some TLC before you
send them back into the wild) and lots of eggs, that need a special
touch (think Faberge), as they hatch into little chicks. Okay you
will need to use your imagination and creative skills, but you get
the idea.
While it is not a requirement of this cache, it would be great of
you selected either a dolphin or an egg and set it free in the
world for others to find. The dolphin or egg you select can be used
as a stand-alone cache, or as part of a larger, multi-stage cache.
I really don’t care, just have fun with it! (but keep in mind
Geochicken just loves micros, they are his favorite kind).
Feel free to indicate in your find log if you have selected the
dolphin or egg and a GC number if you so choose once it is
published (via edit log). We want to admire your handiwork!
The Dolphin Pod and Egg Farm contains a variety of choices from
very micro, to micro to the larger side of small, and some medium
sized containers of various types. All the dolphins and eggs need
some love. Some of the dolphins and eggs are more traditional,
while others will provide you with lots of creative options. Take
your pick! I will send in new dolphins and fresh eggs when the
container runs low, but please let me know if the farm seems to be
getting low on inhabitants. If you are so inclined and have extra
dolphins and eggs lying around feel free to drop them off at the
Farm.
Also inside this container is a small gladware container for small
travel bugs and coins, to keep the dolphins and eggs company.
Please do not leave any other type of trade item, this farm is
simply to encourage you to get out there and hide some dolphins and
eggs.
