A fairly easy, kid friendly, cache near Cold Spring Loop on Land Trust Property on Monte Sano.
My cousin wanted an easy cache that was accessible to small kids in this area, so we made one. I gave him an ammo box for Christmas and it has taken us almost a month to hide it between weather and schedules. Finally it is done and we are happy.
It is located on Cold Spring Loop near Bankhead Parkway. Recommended parking is at the Bankhead Parking area, near the bottom of the closed off potion of the old road. (But if you just want to do a park and grab try parking at : N 34° 44.897’ W 086° 31.959’)
We packed it with as many goodies as it would hold. The original contents are:
