Geocache Description:

Tuckerwood Conservation Area

Located in the Tuckerwood Conservation Area, which includes great views overlooking the Taunton River. Enter the park area about 100 yards beyond the intersection of Bridge and High Streets. This location is very similar to nearby conservation areas - nice pine woods with fairly well-defined trails leading to excellent vistas of the Taunton River and all its associated wildlife (of the natural variety). We placed the cache when there was about an inch of snow on the ground and it was snowing lightly, and it was easy to imagine yourself miles from civilization. While there we saw ducks and rabbit tracks, and also got a real good sense of how the Taunton River "snakes" around the town and creates beautiful spots for a picnic or just a view. Close by to the cache are basic wood benches you can use to sit. Container is a ammo box.

Bring your camera as there are some nice spots and a large network of trails to explore.

Please note the area is only open from dawn to dusk.
