This is part of a rail series. The Cache is located at the old Huon Railway Station. You can drive along the main road or ride your bike along the rail trail.
The Huon railway station was part of the Wodonga - Cudgewa railway line and was relocated around 1930 with the Structure of Lake Hume.

When the water level is down on the lake you can still see the remains of the old platform and wooded stump still in the ground where buildings once stood.
There were many railway sidings along this rail link many have been pulled down. Ebden was one where a house still stands. You can ride your bike from Ebden (Ebden Reserve) to Huon station along the old railway link which has been turned into a Bike/Walking Trail. Or for the less energetic you can drive right to it
On the same rail link there is Tallangatta and 30km further along, the Shelley Railway Station where you will find All Aboard (2) cache. It was the highest railway station in Victoria.
I have picked places that have old structures still standing to make it interesting, instead of looking at a plaque in a paddock.
The cache is a 200ml Sistema container
