A simple drive by on a country road.
Not sure why this place is called Shannon. I have spoken to some locals but they don't know either. If I find out I will adjust the information. The township which is across the railway line takes a different name.
Warning. This is on a quiet country road but the railway line is always busy everyday. Please be careful when driving over the railway crossing in this area.
The cache is located outside the cemetery. The Shannon Methodist Church used to be at this site and there is a plaque at the western corner of the cemetery.
Of recent months this cemetery has been on the agenda at the local council re a memorial wall.
Please cover the cache.
