This cache is taking the place of the original and since archived, 'Welcome to Pinebluff Cache' by SilhouetteXX, later adopted by Sarg863. It is also a sister cache to 'Welcome to Pinebluff South' just a little further down the road. However, I'm stepping away from the bison tube theme of the two aforementioned caches, and placing something that is more child/family-friendly and should be a little easier to find.
You are looking for a .30 cal ammo can stocked with goodies, and hopefully shouldn't be too much trouble. There is space to park nearby and it is located far enough off the highway to be safe from traffic. The sign and foliage should provide you ample cover to search for this cache without drawing too much attention.
I'd also like to make note that since this cache is located just off a main highway corridor that runs up and down the east coast, and the great 'US 1 Bug Lounge' cache placed by SilhouetteXX and Sarg863 originally located a little further down the road past 'Welcome to Pinebluff South' has since been archived, I wish to encourage using this cache in the Bug Lounge's place as a dropping point for trackables to help keep them moving towards reaching their goals! This cache is rather close to home, so I plan to stop by every so often and restock it with some TB's and/or coins.
Original cache contents include: an 8 pack of crayons, small slinky, Hi Flyer yo-yo, plastic puzzle ball, plush Shetland sheepdog doggie mascot, pocket key chain fan, plastic bouncy ball, Hot Wheels car, Carebear key chain, skateboard key chain, small toy jet, 2 decorative pencils, and a foam model assembly airplane.
I'm starting this cache off with a Red Jeep Travel Bug, and an Appalachian Trail and USA geocoin.
