Geocache Description:

Triplet county border: the cache (HU: GCSTBM)is hidden near a triplet county border in South-Transdanubia in the Baranyajeno forest.

You can find 19 counties in Hungary today.
This system that is more than 1000 year administrative dividing of the country is an effective one from Y900s, just like the English system of counties (shires).
From this time Hungary (Hungary was the whole Carpathian basin up to 1920.) had 64 counties. The number of counties is only 19 now because of drastic losses of territory of Hungary in the course of First World War.
You can find a notable point in the Zselic hilly country, for the simple reason that it is a common point of three South-Transdanubian counties by names Somogy, Tolna and Baranya County.
This point is signed by a little wooden obelisk (N46° 17,715' E017° 3,179'. There is a modest look-out tower and you can be enraptured by de scenery: you can observe the forest Zselic hills within easy reach to you and the Mecsek mountainous region in the horizon.
You can walk to this place from Baranyajeno village along the red triangle signe tourist path and it takes 3,5 kms.
