Geocache Description:

It's a drive by. Also, take the short walk down to the river.

The cache is just off SR 2 and will introduce you to the spectacular white water of Boulder Drop on the Wild Sky! It is no longer an offset cache it is a drive by (although it has to keep its "multi" designation or be arvchived) as I finally got some coordinates at the actual cache site; however, sats are still weak here and you will want the description.

You will find a fairly long pullout on the north side of SR 2 near the cache site. The cache is "just" off the highway. To get to the river, find the trail near the west end of this parking area. It is short, but steep, and when wet can be quite slippery. Remember that "cache seekers assume all risks involved in seeking a cache;"

This can be a cache 'n dash but take time to go down to the river and look at the rapid. This is where rafters and kayakers come to scout this challenging rapid. During rafting season (primarily late spring and early summer), it is also the place to come and watch them run the rapid. More information on the rapid itself is available at the American Whitewater website.

These were the coordinates when the cache had to be offset because I couldn't get coordinates at the cache site. They are for the rock in the parking area and the cache was roughly 20 feet north of that rock.
