Geocache Description:


My local friend "mbfinder" will help me in a urgent maintenace situation.

A medium Lock&Lock cache easily accessible on a relatively short trail.

Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park is one of the newest additions to the Santa Clara County Parks system. This 4,595-acre park - featuring a 635-acre lake, provides camping and boat launch facilities, 13 miles of horse, bicycle and hiking trails - is nestled in the Diablo Range east of the City of Gilroy.

The Campground Trail is about a year old, and connects from the Lakeview Campground to the Coyote Ridge Trail. There are some great views down into the valley from the trail junction, and a great bench to enjoy them from. Even on a hot day the breezes are great.

There's ample easy parking at the Campground. (Like many county parks, there's a $6 entrance fee.)

The cache is a medium Lock&Lock container, large enough for most TBs and trade items.
