Both the stated co-ordinates and the cache location are not car friendly. Parking is very limited and will be expensive if you get towed away. It is recommended that you arrive by foot, bike, bus or London Underground. The co-ordinates stated are not the actual location but are those close to Stand A in the bus area of the Hatton Cross Underground / Bus Interchange.
The Interchange was opened 19th July 1975 as part of the extension of the Piccadilly Line and acted as the underground terminus until Heathrow Central was opened on 16th December 1977. It reverted to a terminus again in January 2005 until September 2006 while engineering took place in conjunction with building tube line extension to passenger Terminal 5. On Thursday 17th January 2008, within half a mile of the stated co-ordinates, Boeing 777-236ER registration G-YMMM operating the BA038 flight from Beijing landed short of nearby runway 27L; all passengers and crew survived the near disaster.
The cache is located at N51 28.ABC W000 24.DEF
