Geocache Description:

Almost a quick cache and dash located near Aberdulais.
The cache is a 1 litre tupperware click and lock box in a camouflage drawstring bag with at the start a logbook,pencil and sharpener in a zip lock bag. There is also a FTF badge and a few trinkets.

Please note that the accuracy on the day of placing was 15ft so I have averaged the location using 3 GPSr's.

If you get a better reading when you find it Please let me know.

Placed on the southern section of the route of a Roman Miltary road The SARN HELEN, reputedly named after the wife of the Roman governor, Macsen Wledig.

This "road" is closed to vehicular traffic from the 1st September until 31st May with the exception of pedal cycles.

It is possible to park at the end of the road but it is a small area and only suitable for one vehicle. There is additional parking about 150 yards towards Aberdulais. Please be aware that although the main road (B4242) looks quiet because of the nearby A465 it can still be a little busy at times.

The road is very wet and uneven and should not be driven expect by cars with a reasonable ground clearance
