Geocache Description:


Much of the land in this section of Greenbelt was once farmland owned by the Schrom Family. In the late 1920's a landing strip was built by the son. This small airport served as a training ground for pilots during the 1930's. While there has been much development, 43 acres remain as a city park.

The park closes at 11pm. It is unknown when it opens, 12:01 am, prehaps?
