Exit I-8 at Freeman Road Southbound. High clearance vehicle is desirable, but most any car should also be able to pass if the weather is dry. Use your own good judgement.
The given coordinates are for a micro containing the coordinates to the final cache. The final cache is near the obviously historic downtown of Freeman. We have searched for history about this place, but have come up with nothing. We couldn't find anyone to ask, not even at the Inconvenience Store. If you have any such knowledge, please be sure to post it in your log. Just letting your imagination take charge makes this a fascinating place to visit. This road may well have been the main East/West thoroughfare before I-8. When this road was active, this oasis in the desert must surely have been a welcome sight. The usual warning about desert critters applies. CAUTION: do not attempt this cache during periods of rain, since wash crossings may be flooded and dangerous! IMPORTANT: DO NOT cross any fences, gates, or openings in fences! Also important.....have FUN! Finally, thanks to Team KG&B and Gordon for their help in creating this cache!
