Hidden near the village of Carnkie. The best way to the cache is to park in the little car park that can be accessed via the lane beside the phone box. Use the walkers footpath towards the east corner of the car park. DO NOT drive any closer to the cache or you will have to navigate 100 metres of brambles, you have been warned.
My owners bring me here for walkies sometimes and I thought it would be a good place to hide my first cache. I have filled my cache with doggy things valued at about £1 each (swaps of equal value please). Try to leave dog related items in the cache if you make a swap. NO DOG TREATS OR FOOD.
Although it is only a short walk to this cache the whole area is covered with a maze of footpaths that you can walk on with your owner.
There are many old mine workings here which have all been made safe. For a more enjoyable visit check out the excellent information panels on the outside walls of the village community institute. Please leave a photo of your dog when you log your find.
