Geocache Description:

Event location: Okatibbee Lake is conveniently located off Hwy 19. 7 miles Northwest of Meridian, at the East Bank Pavillion #2(East side of levee)

Hosted by members of:

Visit us at www.msga.net - Home of the Mississippi Geocachers Association

Starting at 10 am. The Pavillion which has a Bar-B-Q pit and picnic tables have been reserved and paid for.
There is no admission fee into the area.
Rest rooms and playground close by. Camping available near by, consult the website link to the Corps of Engineers for camping info.
The lake and park area are maintained by The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Currently there are 4 caches around the lake with more being placed in time for the event.
Not to mention the caches in near by Meridian.
We will be suppling Burgers and Hot dogs and buns.
Please bring your own drinks or any side dishes you may want to share. If you have a folding chair you may want to bring it too, to sit around and socialize with fellow cachers. This event is open to all cachers.
Please let us know if your coming and how many in your group,
so we know how much meat to get and if you are going to bring a side dish.
So come to Okatibbee Lake April 19th and enjoy the fellow-ship.
