Geocache Description:

Here in Southern California we Bar-B-Que all year round. Hot or cold, rain or shine, we gotta have our Bar-B-Que. The purists use hardwood charcoal like Hickory or oak with mesquite chips to generate 'Smoke' for that most sought after flavor. Others use compressed charcoal briquets. And for those who can afford it, natural gas fires the grills on your own Bar-B-Que island on the patio.

I have been married for almost 38 years and I remember working nearby as a busboy even before then. One weekend there was a traveling carnival set up out back. When I was on break I went out and played the "Dime-Toss". That is where they put a flat dinner plate on top of a 3 foot tall Teddybear and you try and land a dime on a plate without sliding off. And those plates were really flat! In short, I found 3 plates lined up in a row and the second plate was tilted slightly towards me. I tossed several dimes and the last one hit that second plate just right and the dime came to rest on the 3rd plate. That evening after work I presented my girlfriend, who is now my wife for 38 years, with a big pink Teddybear.

You are looking for the usual black altoids tin filled with a selection of coins from other countries. Please be careful when retreving and replacing the cache. This is a high traffic area for hungry muggles as well as the many bus riders. There is no need to do anything here except grab a quick cache and dash! Thanks for sharing my memories.
