Geocache Description:

A great location to view the river, paddle in the water or go for a walk along the riverbank. Entry to the walkway is either at the upstream picnic area) or the side streets down stream.

The South Pine River is believed to be the longest un-dammed river in South East Queensland. The river flows from Mt Nebo down and around hills, through farms, small urban areas and the central area of Strathpine before entering Bramble Bay. With some spare time on my hands it was a pleasure to discover a range of bike tracks snaking their way up the South Pine River.
