Geocache Description:

The idea for a trail conversion in the Medicine Bow Range started in 2001, when the tracks for the old railroad line that crossed the Snowy Range were being pulled apart. The abandoned railroad corridor was used to haul coal and lumber in between Laramie and Walden, Colorado.
The trails are open to horses, bicycles and of course hikers. The trails tend to be level with not many elevation changes. They are great for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. However the snow can be very deep. The terrain and difficulty ratings will change with the seasons.
It is a cammoed jar hidden in the rocks right off rails to trails trail. It started with the usual trinkets and a log book. I took this log book out of another cache. I thought I was taking a travel bug, but when I got home I realized it was the log book. The owner did not want it back so I am using it.

Congratulations wy82331 aka Larry for FTF.
