Edge of the Escarpment Traditional Cache

Located on top of the Hwy 56 roadway cut between Scottsburg and Salem, Indiana. MUST be approached from Shields road, and approach from the north of the coordinates.
This can be a "two-for". While doing the Knobstone Escarpment earthcache, stop on Shields Rd. to nab this cache. Park directly north of the cache on Shields Rd. You'll walk 90' to the geocache, but STAY AWAY from the edge of the rock cut. The edge is about 12 feet beyond the geocache and is eroded and slowly falling away. Because of the cliff edge, this is NOT recommended at night or with children.
