Located in Merrick off Meadowbrook Road. Nearest street is Michalicki Place, but has fence at end. Difficult bushwack.
I had heard runors about a proposed trail through here (Google "Meadowbrook Greenbelt Trail"), and thought I would check it out for myself. Started at Brookside School and headed south. There is a reasonable trail up to Washington Avenue. After that if there is a trial then I am a Monkey's Uncle.
Cache is a 2.9 qt. "ClickClack" that claims to be waterproof. Contains a Barrel of Monkeys, cloth monkey, chimps and a bunch of Curious George items. Signal Pin for FTF.
