This challenge is a derivative of Moat Mountain Progressive Challenge (gc14z4r) by Hipionter and Capiti and is started with thier permission.
CACHE IS AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES
Boundries for this challenge are So. End @ Rt. 171 in Ossipee, NH and No. End @ West Main St. in Conway, NH and must be within 30 feet of closest rail.
1. Keeping with new rules from geocaching.com the placement of a new cache is optional
2. a minimum of 0.2 miles must be mantained between caches further up the rail. This may be augmented as cache's near Colmans pit in Conway (may have to be greater).
3. Cache must be bison tube or larger, must be winter friendly.
4. A find is not required in order to place a cache in this series aslong as it meets the requirments of the challenge.
5. If you have found prior cache's You need not find all previous cache's in series in order to find any new caches. However you will still have the option of placing a new cache.
6.. all cache's placed should be named/number as +# from the SOUTH END to BEARCAMP IRON cache. EXAMPLE the next cache placed would be Central NH Railway Progressive Challenge South +1 or CNHRPC South +1 and so on. Next name/number sequence will be from BEARCAMP IRON as this is near the middle of the railtrail north to NORTH END.
7. IF CACHE IS PLACED OUT OF ORDER: use straght line distance from nearest bench mark (I.E. SOUTH END or Bearcamp Iron)to determin cache name/number. Example if you placed a cache 1.37 miles SLD from Bearcamp iron and caches are placed appox. .2 miles apart the cache would be CNHRPC Bearcamp Iron +7 ( 14ths of mile divided by 2 = 7).
