Good Hope Mine Traditional Cache

There is a 500 metre steep walk up to the mine site. not recommended for those who are not fit. It's a hard climb.
Listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, the Good Hope Mining Precinct is of significant historical and scientific importance to the state of Victoria. The steam powered battery at the tunnel mouth was erected in 1910.
It must of been some feet to get that equipment up there.
The track into this area is 4 wheel drive only.
Car park co-ordinates are S37 19.546 E147 05.604
The cache is a one litre container containing small swaps, log book and pen.
