Ticket to Ryde Traditional Cache

dragophelion: Very sorry, I've not been able to get over to the Island to maintain or replace this cache since it went missing. I've been ill and my work commitments have also changed since I placed the cache, so it is no longer practical for me to maintain it.

I placed this cache here as there were hardly any caches in Ryde at the time, but then there were some more, so I thought it's had it's day! (... but then looking at the map today, there still don't seem to be many... maybe someone else can think about placing another cache here?! - It seems a shame for there not to be a cache close enough to the Ryde Ferry Crossing for those on fleeting visits... [:(] )

Geocache Description:

This is a quick Cache & Dash on the seafront in Ryde!

Every time I have been to the Isle of Wight I have never had the chance to go Geocaching due to not being there for long enough and/or not having my own transport while there. I always wished there was a cache near enough to the passenger ferry to be practical on a quick trip to the island...

..so, I decided to make one!

35mm Micro cache. This one should be fairly quick and easy to find!
The cache contains a pencil at the time of placing The newly replaced cache unfortunately does not currently have a pencil, so please to bring your own!

Please take care not to be too obvious when retrieving and replacing the cache as this may be a busy area at times, especially in the summer or at weekends I would imagine, and also please ensure it is well hidden again when you leave.

*EDIT* - 30th September 2012 - Missing cache replaced in a new location! - Please make sure you have the new co-ordinates! :o)
