The sun did not shine.
It was too wet to play.
So we sat in the house,
on that Livermore day.

How bored we two were
until I had a thought:
"Let's dig out those games
that last year we had bought!"

(It is true, I construct
all my sentences so.
So blame not the rhymes for
my word order flow.)

The games were abstract,
and as geeks would agree,
were the kinds that are won
by a minimax tree.

I chose the dark pieces
on every game played,
took pictures of my final
moves that I weighed.

Right after each photo,
a player resigned.
We both played to win
but with outcomes assigned,

we chose a new game.
And after a time
ten games we had played
(all ten known online).

So if home from work
why not put off your slumber?
Take 2 to the power
of each board game number.

Add those to the Long
when my game did fall flat.
But when I had won
add all those to the Lat.

(Apologies to Dr. Seuss, with whom I share my birthday.)

Game 0

Game 1

Game 2
(Note: The vantage point is from that of the dark pieces player. Also, note the kings on 23 and 28.)

Game 3

Game 4

Game 5
Normally, for each turn, a player selects any remaining piece, and her opponent must place that piece in an unoccupied position. But in this variation, players are associated with piece color. The light pieces player hands only unplaced dark pieces to her opponent, and vise-versa.

Game 6

Game 7
(Note: Since it may be hard to see, from the bottom left hand corner, the white "T" (a small playing piece with a T on it) is two positions up, while the black "T" is five positions up, and 6 positions over.)

Game 8

Game 9

Optional checksum:
The sum of each digit found in both the lat and long (all 15 digits) when divided by 7 leaves the integer remainder 3. The checksum gives no false negatives (if it's not 3, then you're wrong someplace), but there's a chance for false positives. I threw in a checksum so you can easily brute force the last few pictures on this multi-part puzzle if need be.
