An impromptu cache hidden while vetting for an upcoming national orienteering meet. The minimal cache container is a re-cycled Altoids type tin and contains only paper, but if you’d like an easy cross country hike over beautiful rolling grassland, this cache is for you! It is on national forest land and can be accessed from the Gardner Canyon/Greaterville Road/Hwy 62 (.3 mi) or FR4104 (.4 mi).
Skulldar strikes again! Skulldar is one of my nicknames as I seem to find a lot of skulls ever since I was a kid. Found a very unusual one in this area after placing the cache (but not near the cache), a bear!!
Also was a hawk circling overhead, screeching away, just like in the movies. Hope you have as much fun as I did out there!
