St. Peter’s was originally a small building seating 500, built in 1830 by Decimus Burton when Southborough became an independent ecclesiastical parish. In 1883 the Church was was extended by Ewan Christian, who added the spire flanked by 2-storey projection. The former school was located behind the church, and lessons frequently took place on the Common or in the adjoining woods.

I thank Gumbleygang who adopted this cache in 2017, when we moved away from the area - until March 2025 when I heard that they were not as active and I was able to take it back
If you cannot find the cache, do not assume it missing and do not put a throwdown as a replacement. Maintenance is the responsibility of the CO – if any is required, please add an ‘Owner Attention Required’ log to highlight any issue.
Also remember - sign the logsheet. If you don't, do not log a 'found' online - instead consider a 'write note'
