Geocache Description:

Cache is located in Pippy Park near the west side of the Department of National Defence. It is in a forest south east to a large clearing of trees. The route to get there is made up of numerous rocky man made trails used for berry pickers. It a bit rocky, and bit muddy and a bit marshy. But it can be done in a day.

The cache is a Large Brown Presidents Choice Coffee can hidden under a large branch on the ground just outside of the clearing.

The cache contains-

  • Logbook
  • Pencils
  • Disposable Camera
  • Plastic Army Men
  • Deck of cards
  • Calculator
  • Cap Gun
There are many different ways of getting to the cache. A good spot to start is on Nagles Hill road (N47° 35.037' W052° 45.233'). There are many different trails there. Most if not all trails lead to cache as long as you head in a basic West by north West direction(4 kms) THIS IS THE PREFERRED ROUTE.

OR

Another less scenic and easier route is to travel north west with the power lines at Mount Scio Road until you hit The Department of National Defence.

Which ever way that you travel your goal is to hit the Department of National Defence (Large Fenced in Area with NO Trespassing Signs). Travel along the south east side towards the south corner of the lot and travel halfway up the South West Side.

Or

Another route is to travel off Thorburn Road next to Windsor Lake and travel the North east Path(around 3 Kms).
