Round Ball - Square Wings Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BackpacknJack: This Geocache has been [ARCHIVED] by the cache owner.
I’m moving to Northern Arkansas so I will no longer be able to maintain my caches here in the Central and Southern parts of the State. I want to thank all the property owners and/or land managers for allowing me to place these. I’m very proud of our State and glad I have been a small part in showing off it’s parks, trails, small towns and backroads.
I hope everyone has enjoyed all the hunts - - and the 244 total finds.

Geocache Description:

Dead center in the town of Redfield this Round orange building with Square wings would be hard to miss.

Building this impossible dream of a round structure that looked like a giant orange setting on the ground became a family project that was finished in 1965. The round orange building, now with square wings, became such a landmark that many recorded and live Arkansas telecast and radiocast have originated here and featured the building. The present owner is the daughter of the woman who built this very unique round orange Hwy 65 landmark, in the town of Redfield over 50 years ago. You are looking for a medium sized "Lock and Lock". Original contents: $10 FTF prize, Tic Tac Toe game, 2 pink Strive For A Cure bracelet, a yellow Support OurTroops bracelet, LED keychain light, Air Force coin, wooden Jeep, Astronomy Fact Cards, 3 Travel Bugs. Congrats to “ARsearcher” for winning the $10 FTF bonus on 2-9-08.
