Geocache Description:

Hello and Welcome to a new cache in the Ticket To Ride series. The inspiration to place this geocache along my local railway line, came after doing the original cache
The original (visit link) Ticket To Ride cache was a 35mm film canister placed about 30 feet from Gwersyllt train station. It proved popular and was expanded to a series to include Caergwrle and Cefn-Y-Bydd stations.

Each cache is placed on or near the station it takes it's name from. 35mm film canisters are normally used, each contains a log book and a small pencil. Please take care when caching at these locations, you should never go down onto the track. NONE of the caches require you to do this. And watch out for muggles.

It would be great if other people took an interest in this series too and helped headshot119 (Karl) expand it further afield. Anyone can place a cache under the Ticket To Ride name. If you would like to take part contact him at (visit link)

A list and location of all the Ticket To Ride caches can be found here (visit link)

Another series which had started quite a while which I have just found (very intresting) on the same LINES is
Sidetracked (visit link)

Abergele (visit link) Pensarn (visit link)

This cache is now a magnetic Nano due to the last bigger cache getting muggled you will need your own pen/pencil. It is placed on Abergele Pensarn train station in North Wales where there is free parking outside the station .
Like most of the stations on the line it only has two platforms with very basic facilities.
Keep a vigilant eye on geo-kids and muggles.
Please be careful when replacing the cache, when muggles are about thanks .
There is CCTV on the platforms, but they are facing away from the cache site .

Seen the signalman, to talk to today.
Apparently it is manned from 6.10am - 12.10am 7 days a week,
So please do be carefull and on your GUARD against the muggle signalmen. Cheers (TM) On On to the platform .

Pensarn is a suburb of Abergele in North Wales. It has a population of around 2,000.

Pensarn beach.
This station boasts that you can walk to a nice beach from the station within two minutes.
Pensarn lies between Rhyl to the east and Colwyn Bay to the west. It has a northerly facing promenade, approximately 500 metres long. The recent sea defence system incorporates an excellent beach access point, supported by cafeterias, shops and ample free car parking adjacent to the shops with further extensive free parking onto the beach.

Watersports: Windsurfing, extreme kiteflying/buggying and canoeing. Also sea fishing.

Who left that tractor there ? (visit link)

Congratulations Phil and Rob (PhilPamAndRob) for first to find this Geocache on the 11/2/08, glad you did not get muggled by the FatControler and it was a shame Rob did not get to see Thomas the Tank .
