Our second cache in the Gramlich Bird Sanctuary
Parking coords are: N43 01.660 W076 00.718.
NOTE: PROPER FOOTWEAR IS RECOMMENDED!!!
Very wet terrain.
Waterproof boots are a must especially after a rain.
Limestone Creek disects this Fayetteville Park in honor of Frederick Gramlich.
Elm Street ends at the beginning of the Canal Walk on the other side of Route 5. Freddy was the Nightmare on Elm Street.
It's now in the works to continue the Canal Walk into the village park on the east side of Limestone Creek south of Route 5.
As children we were always warned not "TO Run with Scissors", so, what could be more scary than "To Run with Spears".
You can park at the public parking area which is located under the Route 5 bridge and walk as the fishermen do along the Creek behind Solvay Lighting,(NOT THE EASY WAY).
Parking coords for Mill Street is your best bet following the sewer line easement until you are directly east of the cache. We hope they clean this area up with the public money asked for.
This area can be wet, so proper foot wear is recommended but as always, anyone who runs with Spears may not listen to the best advice.
