Wright's Lookout has a great view down the Barron Gorge to the City of Cairns in the distance
This is a traditional cache is in a seldom visited area in the mountains behind Cairns. Please to enjoy the drive through Kuranda on the way. The end of the road, and the beginning of your walk is at one of the vent tunnels for the Barron Hydro-electric power station beneath you. Cache established with log, trackable Decypher Coin, hatbadges other bibs and bobs etc. Please remember that this is a environmentally sensitive area. Plus take care of wait-a-while and stinging vines etc. Plenty of bird life in the area, including ground dwellers. White tail bush rats just love human sweat. So please wipe down any areas of the cache that you touch! The little buggers have the sharpest of teeth!
