A sudoku puzzle usually uses the numbers 1-9. This one uses the numbers 0-8 instead.

This cache is modeled after 'SGT - X Marcs the Spot' (GCWV1T) by Sargents in Kitchener, Ontario.

In keeping with the 'Spot' portion of the cache's title, the FTF prize is an 1863 Patriotic Civil War Token. There was a shortage of coins during the Civil War, so private mints made various tokens that were put into circulation and substituted for legitimate coinage. The front of this coin shows an American flag. The legend on the back says "IF ANYBODY ATTEMPTS TO TEAR IT DOWN SHOOT HIM ON THE SPOT".
